  Byron has had a celebration out front of his bar every year since I can remember. His bar has moved one block east of its original location, and the tradition continues. I’ll play the opening set, and then a headliner, tba, will take over.
  Pomeroy is a town of about 500 people in northwest Iowa. Not much there but a grain elevator, a couple of churches, and one legendary bar and bar owner.
